On the Way, In the Air

22 August Day 1

LOCATION: Somewhere over the Pacific Ocean

Dark cabin for 80% of the trip. A lot of tripping and fumbling for things. The button for the personal light was five feet away so no light.

The first meal was a sesame chicken salad. It was very good. It had sort of a slaw component.

The next "meal" was all I can describe as an "omelet hash bar."

The last meal was fresh fruit, wich was very good, but the coffee...the worst coffee I have ever had. It was served from a french press carafe, so I was expecting more.

LOCATION: Arlington, VA, USA

The longest day. Window seat from DC to LA=cramped legs and claustrophobia.

My last meal in the US is at Scoreboard Bar in the International Terminal at LAX.
